USB Scale
A USB scale is a convenience, not a requirement: Pirate Ship says a scale that reads ounces is enough. If you want one, check which operating systems its software supports. A search summary of DYMO's scale page says its software works with Windows 8.1 and macOS 10.14 and below, which we have not re-read.
Sources read October 2026:maker pages and platform help pages. Anything we have only seen in a search-result summary is marked unconfirmed, and model names and support pages change, so check the exact model before you buy.
