Buyer guide · for sellers on a Chromebook
Which 4x6 Label Printers Work With a Chromebook?
Google's Chromebook printing page says Chromebooks do not support Bluetooth printing; a USB cable and IPP are the routes. That rules some printers out and others in, so the connection matters more here than the brand.
What decides it for you
- A USB or IPP connection, because Bluetooth is not supported on a Chromebook
- A maker that names Chromebook: Rollo lists its X1040 as printing from Chromebook, and MUNBYN's 941B connects computers and Chromebooks by USB (maker listing, unconfirmed)
- Your platform's own printer list, if you sell on Shopify, which names five printers
Mind · Do not buy a Bluetooth-only printer for a Chromebook. Check the connection on the exact model before you order.
